Dr. Dodd Marshall Levy
Chief Executive Officer, President and Founder
Dr. Dodd Marshall Levy, the Founder of CarePoint Medical, has been providing medical treatment, support, and health care products for the diabetic, geriatric, orthopedic and general community for more than two decades. In 1993 Dr. Levy founded Allegany Foot and Ankle Centers and later The Surgical Center at AFAC in Cumberland, Maryland serving as their CEO and Medical Director. Medical practice allowed Dr. Levy to focus on surgical and medical treatments of the foot and ankle as well as to better understand the needs of many patients with regards to their product and supplies requirements. His medical practice catalyzed his interest in product development and resulted in his gaining U.S. patents in insole technologies that are now incorporated in shoe wear all over the world. Further, Dr. Levy has invented medical products ranging from orthopedic and arthritic items to advances in compression stocking technologies.
Based on his interest in medical products and devices, Dr. Levy initially made the jump from practicing medicine to developing and managing healthcare related companies by becoming Founding Partner and Executive Vice President of DSD, Inc a groundbreaking diabetic shoe provider that married a national reach to a direct but personized patient care experience. Founding Diamedix Healthcare, now CarePoint Medical in 2003, Dr Levy’s corporate leadership as CEO and President has helped the company become one of the fastest growing durable medical supply companies in the country.
Addition current positions include CEO roles steering the CarePoint family of companies which include CP Billing Solutions, CP Direct and CP Health Products. He has also co-founded and maintains CEO positions at InfusionPRN, Di-Fit and CRAM. Even now his entrepreneurial spirit is fostering additional business endeavours.
Dr. Levy has written and presented to members of the US Senate and Congress substantive concepts and strategies connected to restructuring the nation’s global Healthcare system as well as has authored and presented anti-fraud and anti-overutilization mechanisms designed to safeguard and reduce costs in our nation’s current system.
Dr. Levy resides in northern Virginia and enjoys playing golf whenever his wife Tammy and two children Jordan and Connor allow him the time.
