Shona Ensign, Controller and Compliance Officer for CarePoint Medical, has been directing and administrating financial departments for over 10 years. Moving from the New York City Metro area in 2006, she took a special interest in the growth and success of local Richmond businesses. After attending Rutgers University and majoring in Business Administration and Accounting, Shona wasted no time jumpstarting her career and has continually been met with enterprising endeavors while gaining a wealth of experiences. Some of the industries and companies that she flourished under was that of Immunomedics, a publicly held Pharmaceutical research and development company, Delta Power, a privately held company partnered with strong fortune 500 companies orchestrating mergers and acquisitions within the power generation industry as well as their continued plant management. Shona has been deeply involved in public and private annual audits as well as the implementation of Sarbanes Oxley administration. The depth of knowledge and considerable understanding she has brought to the company will help lead in the direction and expansion of CP’s business and financial ventures.

Shona resides in Richmond, VA along with her family and spends her time away from the office competitively showing her dogs in conformation and agility as well as enjoying the wonderful Virginia landscape while eventing her horse.
